Terms & Conditions

Bookings between the following business name ‘Koz Car Wash’ trading under ABN 26 632 793 849, and our customers (i.e. person requiring our car detailing services) through our online website, emails, or telephone, will abide by the terms and conditions placed by Koz Car Wash as per documented below.

Bookings

• Koz Car Wash is a mobile car wash service provider. We require the following preparations from our customers prior to a car wash service: ample space, a safe working environment, permission to perform our duties on the premises allowed.
• Koz Car Wash has the right to object to or refuse working conditions if the safety of our employee is not ensured. The service date can be rescheduled for a later time or date between Koz Car Wash and the customer.
• Our customers’ vehicles are cleaned at their own risk and must be able to withstand normal cleaning processes. In good faith, any damage claims will be limited to the cost of Koz Car Wash service fees agreed upon.
• Please have all personal items or valuables removed from the vehicle before our professional detailer arrives, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged items. All items found in the vehicle will be placed in a plastic bag and left in the vehicle for your retrieval. This may include any trash left behind in the vehicle as well.
• We will not remove, move, or replace any type of child seat or restraint system. We ask that our customers remove child seats and booster seats before we arrive. Should the child seat be left in the vehicle, we will do our best to clean around the car seat but cannot guarantee your total satisfaction.
• A Koz Car Wash employee or detailer will conduct an inspection with the customer prior to the car detailing service commencing. An inspection form will need to be signed by the customer, this form will reflect the agreement of price and results achieved.
• Each vehicle is different and may require more or less time to fulfill the detailing service type. We will make every attempt to start or arrive within the scheduled time; however, we allow a 30minutes to 1hour grace period, as each vehicle and customer may require more or less time to fulfill the detailing service.
• Koz Car Wash reserves the right to use any independent contractor or agent to undertake your auto detailing services and may need to change the detailer at short notice.
• Koz Car Wash reserves the right to alter, move, or change a booking time and date, in line with staffing levels and/or weather conditions and/or machinery or equipment failure.
• Koz Car Wash reserves the right to refuse or deny any booking or continue with their service if they deem the customer to be unreasonable or unsafe. (i.e. Unreasonable means the customers attitude is aggressive and abusive)
• When a customer makes a booking or service request, the following information is required: customer name, location or address, contact details, email address, service, and vehicle condition verification. Service requests are not guaranteed at the time of booking and may be cancelled at any time at the sole discretion of Koz Car Wash. Koz Car Wash reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
• Koz Car Wash reserves the right to refuse or deny customer demands above and beyond the booking service details. Koz Car Wash will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse towards any of our staff under any circumstances and will take the relevant actions should such behaviours be encountered.
• Koz Car Wash reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice to our customers.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

At Koz Car Wash, we require at least 48 hours (2 days) notice prior to cancellation or rescheduling your car detailing service appointment. This allows us to have any new customers fill the available time slot.
The following terms and conditions apply to our customers’ servicing terms:
• Koz Car Wash requires 48 hours (2 days) notice to cancel or reschedule your booking.
• When a customer makes a booking within 48 hours and plans to cancel or reschedule their booking, we require 24 hours (1 day) notice.
• In the event of bad weather conditions, we allow 12-24 hours’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling to a later time and date without charge.
• If a normal (non-weather affected) booking is scheduled and no one is present to meet a Koz Car Wash employee or representative for their scheduled service, the customer will incur 75% of the estimated service fees.
• Koz Car Wash reserves the right to alter or amend a booking time or date without penalty but will inform the customer when possible.
• Koz Car Wash reserves the right to cancel or reschedule in accordance with its staff levels, weather conditions, and/or equipment failure without any responsibility or penalty to the company.
• Koz Car Wash reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice to our customers.

Pricing and Payment

• Koz Car Wash reserves the right to charge or price each vehicle according to its condition and type.
• Koz Car Wash reserves the right to amend any detailing services pricing during our work, shall it differ from the original estimate provided.
• Koz Car Wash accepts cash payments or credit card payments through its square payment app or bank transfers in advance, prior to service.
• Koz Car Wash will provide all customers with an invoice within 24-48 hours of service completion.
• Koz Car Wash reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice to our customers.

Communications

• Koz Car Wash will send you an SMS and an email to confirm your service request, remind you of your appointment within 48 hours before the scheduled time, notify you of your invoice and receipts, and acknowledge your cancellation or rescheduling of your appointment.
• Koz Car Wash reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice to our customers.

Service Guarantee

• If the customer is unsatisfied with Koz Car Wash’s service rendered or any work of their independent contractors or agents, and there is a clear cause that the employee or detailer did not fulfill the service package as ordered or there is clear evidence of poor craftsmanship, Koz Car Wash will provide additional services to fulfill the uncompleted or unsatisfactory portion of the service free of charge.
• Customer claims must be filed within 48 hours of the completion of the service by phone or email. Pictures of the area must be emailed to [email protected].
• Koz Car Wash reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice to our customers.

Pre-Existing Damage

• In certain circumstances, pre-existing damages during the initial vehicle inspection are difficult to find or assess.
• In some cases, vehicles may have interior components that are broken, scratched, worn out, faded, not working, or become loose and cracked without the owner’s knowledge. If a Koz Car Wash employee, detailer, agent, or representative finds any items that are not working properly, worn, scratched, cracked, faded, or broken, we will bring it to your attention. You agree not to hold Koz Car Wash responsible for any pre-existing damages to your vehicle.”
• The customer must indemnify and keep indemnified the service provider (Koz Car Wash), its officers, employees, volunteers, and agents against all claims, actions, demands, proceedings, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses whatsoever and howsoever arising, paid, suffered, or incurred by the customer, its officers, employees, or agents, directly or indirectly as a result of, or in connection with the provision of the services.
• Dirt can hide swirl marks, scratches, dents, paint chips, fine lines, and other imperfections. If a Koz Car Wash representative finds any exterior or interior imperfections, we will inform you immediately. Koz Car Wash will not be responsible for correcting these pre-existing paint imperfections if your service does not include this requirement. Additionally, Koz Car Wash will not be held responsible if we find pre-existing paint imperfections during our normal course of detailing that you were not aware of
