How often should I have my car washed?
Your car should be washed at least every two weeks to maximise protection of your vehicle’s colour and keep its protective wax intact.
Why should I allow a car detailer to wash my car?
They will offer professional products and the correct services, which will add value to your car. This, in return, will enhance the value of your vehicle upon its retention or resale.
Does a vehicle owner need to be present on-site?
Yes, the vehicle’s owner must be present if the detailer has any questions or inquiries that require assistance. The owner must inspect their vehicle once the detailing work has been completed and they are satisfied with the work.
Does my vehicle need to be inspected?
Yes, the inspection is to ensure the vehicle’s condition is as discussed with the owner and matches the agreed service price. Extra work may be required and must be discussed with the owner.
Do you offer any discounts or loyalty programs?
Yes, if you become a fortnightly (every 2 weeks) customer and require our services, an additional 10% discount will be provided off the current price rates.
Referring customers to our business will earn you a 10% discount on your next service, regardless of the service they choose for their vehicle. The referral discount is unlimited (e.g., refer ten (10) customers, and your next service will be free).
Do you offer insurance with your work?
Yes, our public liability insurance is set at $10 million. All our staff have police checks and are authorised to work in our communities and around families.
Which areas of Sydney do you cover?
Our services cover all of Sydney with no extra charge. We offer services in:
- Shire of Sydney
- South Sydney
- Inner West Sydney
- Eastern Suburbs of Sydney
- North Shore Sydney
- Southwest or West Sydney
Areas outside of Sydney can be serviced for an additional fee (plus service fees package):
- Gosford – $175
- Blue Mountains – $175
- Wollongong – $175
- Newcastle – $500
- Canberra – $500
How do our bookings and appointments work?
Bookings can be made in advance for 5-7 business days. Once a booking is confirmed, an email and SMS notification reminder will be sent 48 hours prior to your vehicle’s detailing service.
What are our operating hours?
Mon – Fri: 9:00am – 7:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 7:00pm
Sunday: Special Appointments Only (extra fees apply $125 plus service)
Should I empty my vehicle before detailing work commences?
Please remove all belongings or valuables from inside your vehicle. Koz Car Wash is not responsible for any loss or damage to your vehicle’s items. Please Note: Baby seats will not be removed or reinstalled before or after cleaning due to insurance liability.
What if it rains – cancel or reschedule?
Cancellation notice must be made 48 hours in advance. In the event of rain, we allow 12-24 hours’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling to a later time and date.
If a normal (non-weather affected) booking is scheduled and no one is present to meet our employee for their scheduled service, the customer will incur 75% of the service fees.
Are there any additional charges for our detailing services?
Yes, additional service fees will apply for deep cleaning services for dirt, mud, stains, sand, and dog hair. These fees start at $25 per item (e.g., excess dirt and dog hair will incur $50, etc.).
